The Duality of Change & Comfort
Are you currently experiencing a change in your life? Has it been challenging to become comfortable with this change?
To begin, first, ask yourself what worries you the most about change? Is it the fear of not being in control? Does it terrify you to not be aware of the next following events that will take place? I want you to understand that these emotions, thoughts, and fears are normal. You are not the only individual to have these experiences however, it is imperative for you to learn how to effectively cope with change. To do so, you must understand the significance of it so that it is no longer deemed as a threat.
Change is inevitable.
As you continue to navigate through your human experience, you will have undeniable evidence that change is inevitable. For as long as you are alive, change will be unpreventable. It is not something that you can change, stop, nor compromise. In fact, it should not be something that you would want to interrupt. Its presence is to allow you to remain aware that you are closer to your purpose and consequently, things have to change. Whether it is losing a long-time best friend, searching for a new job, or relocating to a different city… the things that you have become accustomed to can not join you on the next level of your journey.
Change stimulates growth.
When change appears in your life, it is a clear indication that you are not where you are supposed to be, yet. Just as a flower goes through stages of growth to change from a seedling to a full-bloom flower, you have to endure this also. You may be at the stage where you are breaking ground (experiencing a revelation of yourself); refrain from allowing these moments to frighten you. If anything, be wary of stagnant moments. It conveys that your personal growth is being hindered by someone or something; perhaps by you.
Embrace the presence of change knowing that it will not harm you but it will rather make space and room for your purpose to flourish.
You are deserving.
You are worthy.
You are worth it.
